Blonde -vs- Brunettes for Alzheimers

I have been asked to photographed just about everything lately and although I always give my best and try to do the best I can. I often wish of doing something a little more special, well this past Saturday I got that chance when I was shooting the 1st Annual Blonde's -vs- Brunettes flag football game for Alzheimer's. Although the Blonde's won the game 57 to 20, the real winners where those trying to find a cure for this disease. Both teams raised over 21,000 for the cause I felt really good to be able to donate my skills and time to capture the game.

I said it was a flag football game for charity but you will see from the photos it was very competitive and almost turned into a tackle football game.......enjoy and I hope you maybe can donate a dollar or two or maybe your time for next years' game.

One Last Shot !

Well I'm in full football mode right now, I went over and shot the Raytown South Cardinals varsity game tonight, and will post some pictures of that sometime tomorrow. Got a full day Shooting The Blonde's vs The Brunettes for Alzheimer's. It should be a fun game and is for a great cause....come on out if you can it's at 2pm at Rockhurst High School on 91st and state line.....

But back to my post I am posting a multi-shot I did for a client as a surprise of her son playing catcher, this young fella is intense and I had a great time.

NEED for SPEED !

Well I got to go back to my roots this past weekend when the AMA Superbikes came to Heartland Park in Topeka Kansas. A great big thanks to Scott Sewell for pointing out the good locations, me and my buddy Jarvis of J. Morrison Photography were able to get some great shots and because I knew alot of the guys from my Kawasaki Motors days, I got some attention when I was taking the pictures. Like this one of Larry Peagram who won both superbikes looking over at me as he is heading into turn 11.

Jason Britton and his No Limit Stunt Crew put on stunt shows both days, and yes before you ask I got lots and lots and it's hard to choose which ones to post.

My buddy Aaron Yates who races for my all-time favorite sports person Michael "Air" Jordan aka Superman was running hard but went a little too hard into a corner and peeled off that cool paint job, he was ok. This picture is before the accident!

Thanks for this picture Jarvis, caught in the middle between my love for motorcycles and photography........!
