Where Has the Time Gone ??

I was just a week behind in posting and now it's been over a month, well in that time I have shoot the 2nd Annual Blondes vs Brunettes game for Alzheimer's, upgraded to Windows7 64-bit (that was a chore but well worth the time to get it done) and have been shooting the Ray South Cardinals football season. Which is not going to good right now they are 1-2 but hopefully after tonight they will be back to 500 ball. Stay tuned !

Back to the Gridiron !

Yes I know it's a little time before football season officially starts but some of my favorite players will be competing in the Missouri vs Kansas Allstar game on Thursday. So I have been practicing along the Missouri team to get the rust off and to get ready for the showdown at Shawnee Mission North High school.

Intensity !

When shooting football games I always try to get facials expressions whether it be high school to the charity flag football games. I was trimming down my exploding hard drive when I cam across this photo I made of Rio B. The look in his eyes at such a young age tells me he may have bright future ahead of him. If nothing else he's a very cool kid and makes me laugh every time I see him with his high energy!

Cardinals Hittings on All Cyclinders

Yeah, my favorite high school team is hitting on all cyclinders, they way the dismantled Northeast high school on Saturday was a display of the entire team working. It got boring by halftime but they took one step to being 3 and o in district play with that 42 to 0 thrashing. Not to sound like a reporter but they have the same intense look they did last year when my son helped them make it to the stae championship. Well enjoy the pictures

What a Weekend!

Well they say when it pours it rains, well it was storming on me last weekend. I had to deliver a bunch of prints that were processed incorrectly, my truck had an electrical gremlin and right beforere I was going to shoot senior night for the Cardinals. After alot moaning on my part then some creative rearrangements I got a rental after hours(Thanks Enterprise) made it to the game just in time and received my reprints Saturday first thing......whew thank you for looking out for me!

Picture Time

An interesting thing happen to me, I was asked to shoot the Team and Individual photos for the team I was following AFTER they had someone else do them. It's seem some folks just like to run and gun photos these days. Oh well I'm not going to mention any names but wow.......so off I goo lots of little guys to shoot!

Well my favorite high school team is having hard time getting over the hump these past two weeks but I still love them and enjoy making photos. I made this one last night for the homecoming game and then added some Darryl tweaks to see what I could get......

Football is in Full Swing

Well another great weekend of football action with the exception of TERRIBLE call in the Raytown South game that would have sent it to overtime but that is another story. Making photos is such much fun these days but the kids are starting to look for me even during the game. I keep telling them you do your job I'm doing mine.

Anatomy of a Catch

I was shooting the practice for the Blondes -vs- Brunettes for Alzheimer's flag football game. I was using the Machine Gun(Canon 1D) and rattled off this series so I played around with it to see what I could come up with....what do you think ??

Seminole Camp

Well I must say the camp yesterday was pretty fun about 60 kids from all four division showed up and were put the conditioning drills that would start them on the path to being ready for the upcoming season. Although I got some shoots of a young who was suffering from a little much breakfast being returned to the earth I won't post it.......

I love football and this was just the fix I needed.......

Are You Ready for Some Football ???

Well I definitely am but I'm talking the little league guys that play for the love of the game. This saturday I will start getting my fix as the Seminoles football organization starts off the season with training camp. Can you believe it little leagues kids with a training camp, well I'll be there to document their progress right up to the end of the season. Stay tuned !

Favorite

This is one of my favorite shots I took last year. Raytown South enter the drive for the state championship with a home playoff game with Winnetonka. As you can see it rained on me and Winnetonka, as Raytown South crushed them on the way to a rematch with Fort Osage and the championship game against Raymore Peculiar. Dejuan Beard almost took this to the house ......!
